Withdrawal of Manuscript

Jurnal Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan (JBK) allows authors to withdraw their manuscripts under certain conditions while maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the editorial and publication process.

1. Withdrawal Before Review Process

Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript before it enters the editorial screening or peer review process. At this stage, withdrawal can be made without any penalty by submitting a formal request to the editorial office.

2. Withdrawal During Editorial or Peer Review Process

If the manuscript is already under editorial evaluation or peer review, authors must provide a clear and reasonable explanation for the withdrawal request. The Editor-in-Chief will evaluate the request and determine whether the withdrawal can be approved.

3. Withdrawal After Acceptance

Withdrawal of a manuscript after it has been accepted is strongly discouraged, as the editorial and peer review processes require significant time, effort, and academic resources. Authors who wish to withdraw at this stage must provide a strong justification, and the request will be evaluated by the editorial team.

4. Ethical Considerations

Authors are expected to avoid unnecessary withdrawal, particularly after the peer review or acceptance stage. Withdrawal requests must be submitted formally by the corresponding author and should include the manuscript title, submission ID, and a clear reason for withdrawal.

Repeated or unjustified withdrawal requests may be considered inconsistent with responsible academic publishing practices.

5. Editorial Decision

The final decision regarding manuscript withdrawal rests with the Editor-in-Chief. The editorial team reserves the right to approve or decline withdrawal requests based on the stage of the manuscript and the justification provided.
