Plagiarism Policy

International Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (IJBAE) is committed to maintaining the integrity and originality of published scientific works. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will go through a strict plagiarism checking process using Turnitin before entering the peer-review process.

Plagiarism Checking Process

Every manuscript received will be checked using Turnitin software to detect any similarities with other previously published works. The results of the check will be used by the editor to assess the level of originality of the manuscript.

Plagiarism Assessment Criteria
Major Plagiarism: If the manuscript is found to have more than 20% similarity to other sources without proper attribution, the manuscript will be rejected immediately.
Minor Plagiarism: If the similarity is less than 20%, the author will be given the opportunity to revise and correct the problematic parts.
Action Against Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the review process or after publication, the following actions will be taken:

The author will be notified of the findings and asked to provide clarification or revision.
If plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be withdrawn from publication and the author will be prohibited from submitting manuscripts to this journal in the future.
The author's affiliated institution will be notified of the violation.
